Prempak-C®
Prempak-C® is available in 2 strengths:
Prempak-C® 0.625 consists of 0.625mg conjugated estrogen tablets and 0.15mg norgestrel tablets.
Prempak-C® 1.25 consists of 1.25mg conjugated estrogen tablets and 0.15mg norgestrel tablets.
Therapeutic indications:
Hormone replacement therapy for estrogen deficiency symptoms in menopausal and postmenopausal women.
Prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women at high risk of future fractures who are intolerant of, or contraindicated for, other medicinal products approved for the prevention of osteoporosis.
Dosage:
Prempak-C® is available for oral use in a sequential regimen for treatment of women with a uterus. The recommended starting dose is 0.625mg-1.25mg conjugated estrogens daily. One norgestrel tablet should be taken daily from day 17 to day 28 of estrogen therapy. Continuous estrogen administration is recommended.
